We offer a flexible approval process for project times, fixed-price packages, and travel expenses, which you can optionally include your clients in. Once approved, approved services can be invoiced immediately and automatically. If the service was provided by a freelancer, an e-credit note can be issued automatically.
We support ZUGFeRD and XRechnung for EN16931 compliance.
Functionality
Both project time and working time tracking are possible. Times can be recorded or imported via timers, calendars, or other forms. Data can be recorded in the web app, on the smartphone via the app, and in the ZEIT.IO browser extensions. Integrations for ticket systems such as JIRA, GitHub, and others are also available.
Expenses can be recorded on a project-by-project basis in 33 currencies. Conversion to the project currency is automatic. Record hotel costs, train tickets, mileage, parking tickets, or even hardware and license costs.
The approval process can be activated per user and project. Project time, fixed-price packages, travel costs, and expenses can be submitted. The approvers stored in the project must either approve, reject, or comment on the submitted services.
Suppliers (freelancers) can optionally use the self-billing procedure. A self-billing note is then automatically created for approved services. This is a self-billing invoice created by the buyer on behalf of the supplier. EN16931 invoice type 389. This eliminates the need for the supplier to create an invoice.
Offers, outgoing invoices, incoming invoices, cancellation invoices, partial invoices, advance invoices, credit notes, items, dunning, auto-invoicing, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, evaluations, filter functions, export functions and much more are included here.
The e-invoice mailbox can receive, validate, and visualize e-invoices. Depending on the validation result, a receipt confirmation can be sent to the sender. Automatic forwarding to third-party systems is also possible.
