From offer creation to e-invoice in seconds

ZEIT.IO stands for automated billing of project time. Our customers previously created and managed their offers in other tools. Typically, a project was created in ZEIT.IO when an order came in. Project processing and billing then always takes place in ZEIT.IO!

Some customers then asked why you can't create and send offers in ZEIT.IO. That's possible now, too!

Since last week, you can also create and send offers in ZEIT.IO. And this week, the first customers have already created and sent offers on ZEIT.IO! You can also create a project or an outgoing e-invoice from a quote with just one click!

The quote feature is initially only available to corporate customers. The new quote feature can be found in an organization's main menu under "Accounting."

The form for creating a new quote is very similar to the form for an outgoing invoice.

An existing customer can of course be selected as the recipient, which will then automatically adjust the address. If the recipient of the offer is not yet a customer, the recipient and address can also be entered as free text.

Optionally, a delivery date and/or a service period can also be specified. The project name and project number can also be entered optionally. This information is then used to create the project.

Just as with outgoing invoices, dynamic fields can also be added optionally. These will then appear in the top right corner of the offer.

The offer can, of course, contain any number of items, and the items can also be grouped with subheadings. This provides a better overview, especially for longer offers. The introductory and concluding text can, of course, be customized as desired, and the default values ​​can be adjusted in the templates.

The final offer number is only assigned once the offer is completed. This is equivalent to outgoing invoices.

An offer can also be marked as "rejected" or "accepted," which also changes the status of the offer. Offers can then, of course, also be filtered and sorted by different statuses. This helps you maintain an overview of the offers.

If a quotation is marked as "accepted," you can optionally also enter a customer order number. This order number is then transferred to the project when you create a project from the quotation. And if you create an outgoing e-invoice directly from the offer, the order number is also transferred to the outgoing e-invoice.

Yes, of course! Equivalent to the invoice number range, there is also a quotation number range that can be freely configured.

We offer various formats for the offer number. You can also configure a prefix, the current offer number, and a minimum length. After the first offer has been completed, these values ​​can no longer be changed! ZEIT.IO then automatically assigns a consecutive offer number for each new offer.

Yes, of course! Similar to outgoing invoices, the default texts for the offer and email delivery can be freely configured. The default texts can be configured under the main menu item "Settings -> Templates -> Offers." You can also use certain variables to adapt the texts to the specific offer.

The texts can be stored in both German and English.

With the new offer feature, the ZEIT.IO solution becomes more comprehensive and complete. Our customers can now manage offers and e-invoices in one tool and no longer need another tool for offers. Offers can be converted into projects and invoices. This way, you can go from offer creation to e-invoice in seconds!
