# ZEIT.IO

> ZEIT.IO is a web application for freelancers, agencies and small and medium-sized companies that automates the billing of project times and expenses: time tracking, approval by the customer, invoicing and credit notes as ZUGFeRD and XRechnung e-invoices, and transfer to DATEV. It also covers HR functions (contracts, working hours, vacation, sick leave, overtime) and supplier/freelancer management. Made in Germany, hosted GDPR compliant, available in German and English.

Key facts:

- Target groups: freelancers and solo entrepreneurs, agencies and consultancies that bill freelancers or interim managers to their customers, and companies that manage employees and suppliers.
- E-invoicing: creates ZUGFeRD 2.4.0 and XRechnung 3.0.2 invoices, and receives, validates (EN 16931), visualises and archives ZUGFeRD, XRechnung and Peppol BIS 3 invoices in an audit-proof manner. E-invoicing is mandatory in Germany since 2025.
- Auto-invoicing and credit note procedure: approved times and expenses turn into outgoing invoices to the customer and credit notes to the freelancer automatically.
- Integrations: DATEV, SAP ByD, Google and Microsoft Entra single sign-on, JIRA, Tempo, Clockwork, GitHub, GitLab, Trello, Zendesk, YouTrack, EmailBrief.
- Apps: web, Android, iOS, and browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
- REST API with token authentication and an OpenAPI specification.

Pricing (net, plus statutory VAT; current prices on the pricing page):

- Free: 0 € / month. 2 outgoing and 5 incoming invoices per month, customers, projects, time tracking, expenses, SSO, 2FA, API access, DATEV integration.
- Freelancer: 9 € / month, billed annually (108 € / year). Single user, 20 outgoing and 50 incoming invoices per month.
- Organisation: 19 € / month, 30 days free trial. HR, supplier and CRM functions. Plus 9,00 € per active employee, 22,00 € per active supplier/freelancer, 0,20 € per outgoing invoice or credit note and 0,10 € per incoming invoice.
